Privacy policy
This policy explains how Woodcock Visuals handles personal data when you use this website or contact me.
Who I am
Woodcock Visuals is the trading name of Kelechi Ebere (trading as Woodcock Visuals). I am the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact me at kelz.woodcockvisuals@gmail.com.
What I collect and why
- Enquiry form. Your name, business name, email address and the message you write. I use these to reply to your enquiry and to discuss a possible project. My lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and my legitimate interest in running my business.
- Email. If you email me, I keep your message and address for the same purpose.
- Technical data. My hosting provider records basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, when pages are requested. This keeps the site secure and working.
Who receives your data
I use service providers to run this site and handle enquiries: a website host (Netlify, Inc.), an enquiry form handler (Formspree, Inc.) and an email provider. They process data on my behalf. I do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Some providers are based outside the UK. Where your data is transferred abroad, I rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
Fonts and cookies
This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details. This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, I will update this policy and ask for your consent where it is required.
How long I keep your data
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. If we work together, I keep project and invoicing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Filming and client work
If I film you, your team or your customers as part of a project, consent, usage and storage are agreed separately in writing. That agreement sits alongside this policy.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how I use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Email me and I will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes
I will update this page if how I handle data changes, and I will change the date at the top.
